Katie Kolo

Katie is a third year from Alexandria, VA and a double major in History and Music (in the Performance Concentration). Coming out of a family of musicians, she plays French horn (as well as mediocre trumpet and awful clarinet) and has had the opportunity to solo and participate in numerous honor groups throughout her career. At UVA, she plays in numerous ensembles and takes private lessons. Aside from this, she enjoys the free movie nights at Newcomb Theater, sitting in the egg chairs in the Music Library, and connecting with others who love the arts! Her favorite order from the Fine Arts Cafe is the Carter's Mountain salad.
