We'd love to have you. We welcome UVA students of all years and majors who have a passion for the Arts and a knack for meeting new people.

Guide Expectations

Though not a major time commitment, all Arts Grounds Guides are expected to undergo a training period and, once trained, to remain active and enthusiastic members of the organization. After being accepted as an Arts Grounds Guide in December, you will be given a packet of information on the Universities arts-related facilities, departments, programs, and student opportunities. You'll be expected to learn this information during winter recess in preparation for several Guide training sessions in January. Once training is complete, you're officially an Arts Ground Guide, and can begin offering tours to visitors and attending monthly guide group meetings.

Application Process 

We recruit once a year, during the Fall Semester. Our next recruitment cycle will occur in Fall '19.
